What type of paint do you use?
We use only non-toxic acrylic paints, from Swedish supplier. Deemed safe for consumption although we recommend not! Paint can be washed off with soap and water while wet but is more stubborn when dry so dont wait.
Can I bring in my own item to splat?
Yes! and we love the idea of giving old items a second life! Bring in any item (shoes, hat, clothes, ceramics etc.) you can easily move yourself and fits in you station. (approx. 1x1m)

Are Instructions in Swedish too?
Yes! At Splat you can choose to have your instructions in English or Swedish.
Do you have space for strollers?
Yes the studio and Matverkstaden is quite spacious, we do not have a stroller room but you are welcome to find space in a corner.
Can we bring our own food and drinks?
Splat Fabriken is located inside Matverkstaden på Lokstallarna which is a restaurant and bar. You can bring drinks purchased into the studio. We ask no outside food/drinks
Can we share a splat station?
Yes, you may share a station however the fee is per person.
For guardians with a child under 13, there is no additional fee to supervise.
What forms of payment accepted?
At Splat we are cash-free. You may pay on-site by swish or card. If you are company you may also pay by invoice.
Is the venue wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Splat is located on ground level, if you have any concerns or special needs please be in touch.
Is there a minimum age?
Everyone is welcome! Although Splat Fabriken staff are not responsible to supervise children. Kids under 13 must be with a guardian. For kids parties please contact us.
What should I wear?
We provide you with a coverall jumpsuit although mess happens, so wear clothes, shoes and jewellery you expect may be splatted on.
Where can I store my
valuables?
Splat Fabriken does not have lockers so we recommend you keep valuables either on you, hidden under your garments or you borrow of our boxes that you may place items in and keep near you while splatting.
Is photography allowed?
Yes, we encourage you to take photos to remember the experience. If you wish for us to take photos of you let us know. Be sure to tag #splatfabriken in any social media posts.
